A music and dance film made in collaboration with dancer/choreographer Liz Walker, Anna's Song was inspired by the life story of my grandmother, who risked her life numerous times to obtain fake documents that helped save lives during WWII. My grandmother is my personal hero, and diving into her story with music and movement was an impactful journey for me.

 

Anna's Song was supported by a 2024 CJP Arts and Culture Community Impact Grant. It was shot at The Vilna Shul, Boston's Center for Jewish Culture, with audio and video work by Luke Damrosch.
